- Make a record of exactly where you fell.
- Report the injury to the property owner.
- Get contact information for all witnesses.
- Take pictures (of the scene and injuries).
- Get medical care and describe everything that hurts.
- Retain the shoes you were wearing (and clothing, if relevant to the fall).
- Do not give a recorded statement or sign medical release forms.
